The rummage sale is held the second Saturday of each month from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the school building adjacent to the church. Sponsored by the church group, the Lively Ones, we offer a wide variety of gently used items and apparel. Our Kitchen is also open for lunch with good food at a reasonable price. (top)
Brookside Center
Zion UCC supports the Brookside Hunger Center located at Archwood and Pearl Rd. in the Brooklyn Centre neighborhood of Cleveland. We donate food and money on a regular basis and support the Outreach Ministries of WSEM ( West Side Ecumenical Ministries). (top)
Spring Plant Sale
Each May (generally on Mothers Day weekend) Zion UCC conducts a plant sale of a large variety of plants and flowers. Proceeds from this event go to maintaining our church and all it's outreach ministries. (top)
Is held on the second Saturday of November from 11 a.m. 3 p.m., the Mini Mart features crafts, novelties, home-made jams and jellies, "treasures" (including a "Collectors Corner") and lunch items. The monthly Rummage Sale is held on the same day during the same hours. (top)
Drop-in Center
Our twice weekly Drop-in Center is open to everyone seeking a some shelter, fellowship in a safe environment and a light meal or snack. Open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and located in the Zion School Building Tremont. We offer basic comforts to the weary soul. Meals Program
Our Meals Program is open on Saturday evenings from 4:30-6 p.m. We serve a full multi-course dinner including soup, salad and desert. Membership in the Cleveland Food Bank and partnership with West Park UCC has helped us to serve many homeless or poor healthy, nutritious meals. Our average costs are well below one dollar per meal. Bible Study
An adult Bible Study class will begin at the beginning of the new year with adequate enrollment. Generally, the Scripture reading(s) for the upcoming Sunday morning worship service provide the text(s) for study. (top)
