About the series
'It is Written' is a sermon series by Sr. Pastor Keith Battle about the power of writing your visions. The process of actually writing down your dreams and visions is significant for many reasons:
- Writing the vision is obedience to what God has asked us to do. The simple act of doing what the Word of God says shifts us from being a passive, laid-back hearer to an active, engaged doer. Acting on God’s instruction puts us in a position to receive His best.
- Writing brings a sense of clarity to our thoughts, and clarity is important because it provides focus.
- Writing helps us remember what’s important. When things are difficult, revisiting the vision will help you stay the course.
- Having a vision in our head is a level of goal-setting that has potential, but writing the vision down allows it to connect on a deeper level internally. (Source: Team Jesus Mag)
We should be writing down our visions in every area of our lives, including FAITH, FAMILY, FINANCES, FITNESS, FUTURE, FRIENDSHIPS, FUN & FIELD!
