Grow Deeper. Lead Boldly. Serve Faithfully.

Rooted is more than a volunteer program — it’s a journey to become a spiritually grounded, purpose-driven leader in Zion’s Young Adult Ministry.

Serve with Us  - A Message from Pastor Steph

Hey Family,
I’m so glad you’re here! If you’re reading this, it means something inside you is stirring - a desire to serve, to grow, or to make an impact. That’s not by accident. At Zion, we believe God places that kind of desire in us on purpose and for a purpose.
We’re building a Christ-centered community where young adults can find connection and be transformed. And the truth is our ministry can only be as strong as the people who build and support it. In fact, we’re not just building a ministry, we’re raising up leaders. And that starts with leaders like you.
The Rooted Volunteer Development Program is a journey of becoming. It’s where your faith meets your leadership, where your heart for God meets your passion to serve His people, and where you’ll be equipped, supported, and empowered to lead with love, with excellence, and with faith. This isn’t just preparation for ministry, it’s about becoming who God has called you to be. So if you feel the pull, don’t ignore it. We want you on the team!
Whether you're outgoing or behind-the-scenes, there's a place for you here. Because when you say yes to serving, you say yes to being used by God in ways bigger than you can imagine.
Come join the movement and let’s grow together!
Pastor Steph
Zion Global Young Adult Pastor

What is Rooted?

Rooted is a leadership journey for volunteers looking to serve in Zion’s Young Adult Ministry. The vision is to develop a strong foundation of volunteers and leaders who are rooted in faith, equipped through training, and empowered to serve.

“I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.” — Ephesians 3:16-17 (NLT)

Our goals are to:

  • Align volunteers with the spiritual and cultural DNA of Zion Church and the YA Ministry
  • Establish a Christ-centered community that supports spiritual maturity
